Hello APRAST 5 Members,
It was a great honor to be invited to the APRAST 5 training event in Bangkok to provide several presentations on Loss of Control In-flight (LOC-I) solutions through Airplane Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT).
Please keep in mind that meeting the needs of the ICAO Manual on Aeroplane Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (ICAO UPRT Manual) primarily hinges on the qualified UPRT instructor. APS offers solutions (NOT a promotion, just awareness information):
For your reference, please find PDFs and video recordings of the presentations given at APRAST 5 on September 12, 2014, below. APS is dedicated to supporting the aviation industry in the development of training solutions that meet the intended needs of the ICAO UPRT Manual. If any of your regions or states need any assistance, or even a seminar such as was presented at APRAST, please do not hesitate to reach out to APS. We are happy to speak on any aspect of UPRT solutions and LOC-I mitigation strategies.
We hope to soon find an opportunity to expand our UPRT services into your region.
Sincerely,
Paul BJ Ransbury, President
